Tivo Time
Tivo Is a Life Changing Device You know you hear about life changing devices that save you time or money but nothing can compare to the Tivo which can save your sanity. The Tivo and other dvrs like it work just like your computer, using a hard drive to save files. The difference is that instead of documents and pictures they record and save programs on tv. Being able to record anything on tv, whether it is a one time airing or a regular series frees you and your children up from the rigors of a tv schedule. Think about it, you no longer have to race home to make it in time for the start of the show. Or fighting over getting homework done without missing a favorite show. Having a dvr frees you from linear time and allows you to decide when you will watch a program. There are other aspects that are almost as equally wonderful. For instance you can pause the tv in live time to answer the phone, take a bathroom break or get a snack from the kitchen. My daughter calls this “Tivo time” because it enables us to fast forward through commercials even though we are watching in live time. Another great aspect is even if you start recording after a show has already started it will go back and record it from the beginning. This really helps when you forget and miss the start time. There as many ways that the Tivo helps your everyday life and saves your sanity, these are just a few.
